Pro Tools Users:

Here at “Industry Mixed” Our DAW of choice is “Pro Tools”. If you too are using Pro Tools, here are the steps you need to follow to prepare sessions for mixing. 1st You will need to “Save Copy In” and select the “Audio Files” checkbox. This will ensure that all audio files will be included when you send us your session.

Your audio file type should be set to “WAV” the session format should be “latest” bit depth should be at least 24 bit and your sample rate should be the same rate your session was recorded in. Once you hit ok it will ask you to name your new session. When naming your session, please make sure to include the BPM in the title. If you are purchasing a “beat mix” or if you just prefer to record in Ableton here are the steps you will need to follow to prepare sessions for mixing. Open your Ableton session and in the arrangement view select the start and ending point on your song, if you have a reverb tail or delay at the end of your song make sure to leave enough space to catch the tail end.
